St Andrews Cross, Glasgow - Soft Pastel and Charcoal on Paper - Original Drawing
An original drawing rendered in soft pastel and charcoal on paper.
Drawing of the building standing on the corner of Eglinton Street and Maxwell Road at St Andrews Cross (Eglinton Toll) in Glasgow. The building was originally built in 1894-96 for the YMCA.
I've spent 2018 drawing and sketching on location in Glasgow, studying the city like a character and trying to capture it on paper. These drawings are all part of my working towards a body of work inspired by Glasgow and by living in it that I'll continue working on. I've made some of these drawings available for sale in my online shop.
Dimensions of drawing - 42 x 30cm
